At the farm Unterkoflhof in Deutschnofen, you’ll spend your holiday in the sunniest village in South Tyrol. Our farm is located about two kilometres outside the village centre at an altitude of 1,300 metres on an idyllic alpine plateau. Live in wonderful peace and quiet amidst meadows and forests – surrounded by the majestic mountain world of the Dolomites with the alpine peaks Schlern, Latemar, Rosengarten, and Zanggen. You’ll stay right in the heart of the diverse holiday region Eggental with its magnificent panoramic hiking trails, cycling and mountain biking itineraries, and scenic highlights, such as the fairytale lake Karersee. In Deutschnofen you will find all the shops you need for daily life, as well as restaurants and cafés. To make your vacation in South Tyrol also environmentally friendly, during your stay at the farm Unterkoflhof you may use public transport free of charge thanks to our GuestPass.

In our three holiday apartments for 2-5 persons, you will spend a carefree holiday thanks to a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and a free linen package. The bedrooms with furniture made of natural wood and your private terrace or balcony with plenty of sun or fabulous views of the mountains Latemar or Weisshorn offer a real feel-good ambiance. Our fully renovated holiday apartment “Rosengarten” is located on the ground floor of a listed building from the 16th century.
We are your ideal choice for a family holiday at Mount Rosengarten: Your children will love their holiday on the farm. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, they’ll have plenty of space to play and romp freely in nature. On the farm’s private playground swings, a slide, a sandbox, and a ping-pong table await our young guests. And they will also get a taste of real country life: What does hay smell like and what does fresh cow’s milk taste like?

All your favourite summer & winter activities
Many hikes and leisurely walks start on the sunny alpine plateau of Mount Reggelberg. With adequate mountaineering experience, you may get even closer to the Dolomite rock massif, for example on the circular hike to the mountain hut “Torre di Pisa” or on the Via Ferrata di Campanili.
The cities of Bolzano or Merano are also worth a visit. You may reach them in just 50 minutes by car. And when Eggental dons its snow-white winter coat, the 50 kilometres of slopes invite you to plenty of skiing fun begins in the ski centre Latemar-Obereggen. Furthermore, a 100-kilometer network of cross-country skiing trails is groomed in Eggental every year.
